“DECADES: THE BEE GEES IN THE 1970s” TO BE RELEASED THIS SPRING
The follow-up installment to the acclaimed 2021 book Decades: The Bee Gees in the 1960s will be released in the United Kingdom and Europe on March 31, and on May 12 in the United States and Canada via Sonicbond Publishing, Ltd.
Decades: The Bee Gees in the 1970s examines the incredible career arc of brothers Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb across a turbulent ten years, which began with their storied breakup and reconciliation, and ended with their unprecedented global dominance as recording artists, songwriters, and producers.
The 1970s volume, which is the second of a planned four books in the Decades: The Bee Gees series, will include over 300 pages of album and song commentaries, year-to-year biographical narrative, and new interviews and discoveries that provide essential insight into how the Gibbs crafted their iconic musical output.
The authors also furnish extensive details on the brothers’ solo works, side projects, guest spots, and media appearances. Another 16 full-color pages feature images of rare cover art, photos, and memorabilia.
